Nomination for Nordic Council Music Price (Nordisk Råds Musikpris) 2018

No way of hiding it anymore. Jacob Anderskov is nominated for the Nordic Council Music Price (Nordisk Råds Musikpris) 2018 for the album RESONANCE.

THANK YOU to Karen Johanne, Mette, Ida and Peter for magical musicianship on the album, to Rhythmic Music Conservatory for hosting the research project by which the album was initiated, to Thomas Vang for recordings, Bjarne Hansen for mixing, to Kat Jarby/Kajamanagement for management etc., to Søren & Peter at Sundance Music, to koncertkirken for being our home base, and to the ILKs – even if this album was not released at ILK.

Speaking about vinyl albums starring your truly + Anders Vestergaard (see below), another album is now in process at the very same LP factory: Jesper Zeuthen – Jacob Anderskov – Anders Vestergaard: ‘Out of the Spectacle’. Live recording from a late night show at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2017.  ILK. Official release in September.

‘Mysteries’, digi & vinyl

Out now: Jacob Anderskov: Mysteries. – with Adam Pultz Melbye, bass & Anders Vestergaard, drums. Kinetics live in Köln. ILK, 2017 (digi) / 2018 (vinyl). Mysteries album Press release_UK. While the album has been available digitally since November (Spotify, iTunes, Wimp, etc.), we now have reasons to believe that the vinyl version will hit the streets this summer.
